Below is the two Kings's take on the pro 1,2,3 and masters races today.
Pro 1,2,3 - Men
The Jefferson Cup course summarizes riding around Charlottesville, and plenty of the city's cycling enthusiasts showed their support this Sunday. The Pro 1,2,3 race played out like a hard training ride with some tactics involved. Early aggression was checked by the larger teams in the field, but after five laps a small group slipped off the front and barely succeeded in holding off the field for the finish. I tried to ride at the front, and get some good intensity, but was still hoping for a solid finish. I couldn't butt my way into the Team Rite Aid lead out train, and was forced to ride the whole finishing stretch out in the wind settling for somewhere around tenth place. The race was run smoothly and it was an awesome chance to throw down on our home field.

Masters
Negative masters race from the get go . Any chance to break up the field was negated. There were too many strong riders and after numerous efforts realized a field sprint would be the tune of the day . Felt pretty yucky and got with my little bro(Dan) at the end and a good friend (John Kelly) and we ended up one two and three (I was the 2nd loser-3rd place). Pretty fun day all in all .
